Things to do, places of interest

Although it is hard to tear yourself away from the luxury offered by the guesthouse, the surrounding area has countless experiences in store for a romantic weekend:

Local (a few minutes’ walk): The beautiful Sikondai Lakes I and II are just a 2-minute walk from the guesthouse. Although swimming in the lakes is not permitted, they are excellent and popular fishing spots, so we highly recommend them to fishing enthusiasts!
Adventures in the Mecsek Mountains in the immediate vicinity (approx. 5 minutes by car): Do visit the Kőlyuki Betérő, where you can sample delicious, home-style Hungarian dishes. From here, you can explore wonderful forest walking trails: popular and beautiful destinations include the Church of Our Lady, the picturesque Melegmányi Waterfall or the Kőlyuki Cave.
More places to explore (15–25 minutes by car): Conquer Misina Hill and the TV tower, take a walk to the Tubes viewpoint, or go on an excursion to the Orfű lakes and the Abaliget Cave.
Pécs and the surrounding area (25–45 minutes): Stroll through the streets of Pécs with their Mediterranean atmosphere, explore the Zsolnay Quarter, or round off the day with a premium dinner at one of the city’s finest restaurants. The Villány wine region is also an excellent destination for a day trip combined with wine tasting.
